Born in 1985 in Rouen / France, Sarah Michel lives and works in Lille. Following university studies in Arts and Art History, she was co-director of the contemporary arts festival diep~haven from 2010 to 2016. She is currently engaged in an artistic practice that focuses on the image, its narrative potential, and its relation to memory. The projects she develops thus question the status of photography as an archive and a tool for storytelling.
