Daniel Wagener’s practice centers around photography, print-making, staging and urbanism. In his visual work, he focusses on objects and urban landscapes that are both familiar and transgressive to him. He documents traces accidentally left behind by people, and the absurd normality of everyday life. In an exhibition contexts, these photographs are often transformed into three-dimensional, almost sculptural objects. For Daniel, books are not only a presentation devices, but also objects in their own right, or even works of art. He publishes through his imprint Booksken. The Luxembourgish artist and designer runs a printing workshop in Brussels.
