The spaces we create have meaning. These spaces are surrounded or enclosed by structures that most definitely have meaning. What we tend not to recognize at first glance are the echoes of those who occupy and use these spaces. Still, they are there, they are palpable. Laura J. Padgett Laura has spent time in Frankfurt’s Westend Synagogue recording resonances, taking in the echoes of those who inhabit and use this place, making images between space, structure, spirit and time. Through her photographs, we experience what resilience can be and how it manifests itself in the presence of objects, marks and traces.
