<p>featuring work by Hristina Tasheva, Axel De Marteau, Kate Morrell, Oliver Leu, Viktor van Hoof, Anne Penders, Martina Pozzan, Sarah Michel, Stéphanie Lagarde and Katrin Kamrau,</p>
<p>Fanzineist is a fair that welcomes artists, publishers, and other creative people to share their stories, knowledge, love of zines, and art books.</p>
<p>The virtual artbook &amp; zine exhibition will take place in the Fanzineist Vienna- Online Edition for one month. This 3D showcase gives artists &amp; publishers a display for their publications virtually. Visitors can view all original publications that are available for purchase directly from artists and publishers.</p>
<p>This virtual event allows you to use an exhibition space in these times where a physical event might not be possible in your country. In the virtual exhibition, the viewer can control their movements via keyboard or touch, zoom in and get additional information about the publications and artists.<br />

<p>CALL IT A BOOK<br />
July 8 to August 1, 2021<br />
at KOP.12, Kopstadtplatz 12, 45127 Essen<br />
KOP.12 is open on THU, FRI, SAT, SUN from 4:00 PM to 7:00 PM</p>
<p>Opening: Thursday, July 8, 2021, at 7:00 PM<br />
<span class="s1">Initiated by Daniela Risch</span>.</p>
<p>Parallel to the &#8220;Folkwang Rundgang&#8221;, CALL IT A BOOK presents around 50 publications by students and graduates from the Folkwang University of the Arts in their various stages: first dummies, hand-made copies in small editions, larger editions that were published by a publisher, up to the video of the out of print first edition.<br />
The second part of the exhibition is a selection of 25 self-published artist publications and photo books from the extensive program of malenki.net., including printed matter by Aglaia Konrad, Kate Morrell, Karsten Kronas, Garry Loughlin, Dani Cardona, Guillaume Greff, Marte Aas, Line Bøhmer Løkken, Liesbet Grupping, Anne Penders, Lore Stressel, Oliver Leu, Robert Schlotter and Katrin Kamrau.</p>
