On Saturday, May 18 at 12:45 AM Romane Iskaria will spreak about the process of creating her publication ‘Assyrians’.

On Saturday, May 18 at 1:30 PM, Vincen Beeckman will give a talk about his publishing practice (language: French).

On Saturday, May 18 at 4:30 PM Katrin Kamrau from malenki.net invites you for a conversation on self-publishing (language: English).

On Sunday, May 19 at 12 AM Julie van der Vaart will speak about her artistic practice & publishing (language: English).

“Being the preferred medium of many photographers nowadays, the photobook lies at the heart of this festival. This event aims at bringing together, for the first time in Belgium, the best of the current independent photographic publishing world.

The programme includes: a book market with international independent publishers; projections; talks and debates with specialists from the publishing sector; portfolio reviews for Belgian and foreign photographers wishing to show their work to professionals (publishers, curators, art dealers, etc.).

The festival will take place in a friendly and festive atmosphere in order to foster exchange and encounters between all kinds of audiences.”
