Parallel to the “Folkwang Rundgang”, CALL IT A BOOK presents around 50 publications by students and graduates from the Folkwang University of the Arts in their various stages: first dummies, hand-made copies in small editions, larger editions that were published by a publisher, up to the video of the out of print first edition.
The second part of the exhibition is a selection of 25 self-published artist publications and photo books from the extensive program of malenki.net., including printed matter by Aglaia Konrad, Kate Morrell, Karsten Kronas, Garry Loughlin, Dani Cardona, Guillaume Greff, Marte Aas, Line Bøhmer Løkken, Liesbet Grupping, Anne Penders, Lore Stressel, Oliver Leu, Robert Schlotter and Katrin Kamrau.

The exhibition is accompanied by various TALKS and WORKSHOPS. More info on KOP.12’s website

Please join the ‘Museumsdialog: Fotografische Recherchen lokaler Typologien’ of Arne Schmitt and Irmel Kamp on Thursday, Dec 12 at 7 PM at the Leopold-Hösch-Museum in Düren.

This conversation will take place in the framework of the group show Vom Leben in Industrielandschaften – Eine fotografische Bestandsaufnahme featuring work by Bernd und Hilla Becher, Joachim Brohm, Irmel Kamp, John Kelsey, Aglaia Konrad, Susanne Kriemann, Armin Linke, Jürgen Matschie, Angela Melitopoulos & Maurizio Lazzarato, Albert Renger-Patzsch, August Sander, Arne Schmitt, Carl Schütz and Ulrich Wüst.

malenki.net would be happy to welcome you next week during this years Temple Arles Books at Mistral in Arles. At our table you can explore our full malenki.net program, including publications by Aglaia Konrad, Hristina Tasheva and Paul Koncewicz. On Thursday, July 4 at 6 PM, Sarah van Marcke will launch her recent publications Errors and Residuals — a nest and Errors and Residuals — a plot at our table. On Friday, July 5 at 6 PM, Katrin Kamrau will launch her recent artist book DAS OBJEKT (2019).

On Wednesday evening at 6 PM, during Soirée Belge / Belgische Avond / Belgian Night also at Mistral fairground, you can explore even more works by Dries Segers, Matthieu Litt, Maria Baoli, Katrin Kamrau and Annelies de Mey.

Aglaia Konrad is showing work at the exhibition Cartes postales – Nouvelles d’un monde rêvé.
