The places in his photographs wait silently between demolition and new construction, harvest and sowing, abandonment and revival. In this way, Schieder also understands his pictures as a contemplation of the contradictory feelings that something must change and everything should remain as it is.

 

The Collectors Edition of periphic by Christoph Schieder includes his self-published photo book together with two photographs by the author (not published in the book), printed on Hahnemühle Bamboo paper in the format 250 x 180 mm.
